The Lumbini state government has submitted a bill to manage the formation, operation and conditions of service of local services.
Chief Minister Jokh Bahadur Mahara has submitted the bill in the fifth meeting of the fourth session of the Lumbini State Assembly held on Sunday. According to sub-rule 2 of Rule 107 of the Lumbini State Assembly Rules 2079, the bill was presented by the Chief Minister in the State Assembly. There are 9 sections in the bill.
Earlier, the government led by the then Chief Minister Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary has passed a bill to manage the formation, operation and service conditions of the provincial civil service in Lumbini.
Spokesman of the Lumbini State Assembly Secretariat Ishwari Acharya said that the matter of the bill submitted by the Chief Minister on Sunday will be discussed in the State Assembly meeting to be held on Monday at 1 pm. He said that after the discussion, 72 hours time will be issued for the amendment and it will go to the Provincial Affairs and Law Committee.
