40-year-old Lautan Tharu, a resident of Sukumbasi village, was swept away by the flood in the Koili river while collecting firewood at 7 am on Sunday. Police Inspector Gopaljang Rayamazhi of Pipra District Police Office said that Lawton died after being swept away by the flood.
Rayamazhi informed that Lauton's body was found two kilometers below the place where it was washed away.
