Namobuddha's policy: Free ambulance service for the poor, ID cards for farmers

Aiming at that group, a monthly schedule will be prepared and at least once a month, mobile health check-up camps/village clinics will be brought into operation by skilled and expert personnel.

Public schools within the city under the health policy have taken a policy to declare all public schools as junk food (unhealthy food) free zones. It is mentioned in the policy and program of the municipality to provide free medicines and health materials and health equipment announced by the government of Nepal to all the health institutions of the city.

In order to list Namo Buddha in the World Heritage List, the municipality had been taking initiatives and drawing attention to the concerned bodies. The municipality has also included this topic in the policy and program of FY 2081/082. In the tourism development and promotion policy, it is mentioned that necessary initiatives will be taken in coordination with the government and the state government to list the Namobuddha temple complex, which is the pride of Namobuddha city, in the world heritage list.

Towards economic development policy, through agriculture, the municipality has planned to make a policy to increase the production and productivity of the agricultural sector by providing subsidies for agricultural mechanization, seed technology and processing and storage. The municipality has planned to provide expert agricultural technical services to farmers' homes and yards by managing "one village, one agricultural and animal technician, one ward, one agricultural envoy, and one municipality, one veterinarian" under the Agricultural Action Plan.

The municipality has introduced the ``one student, one seedling'' distribution program for the distribution of fruit plants, and it has taken a policy to increase their involvement in public construction work by organizing the statistics of the unemployed and promoting ``one unemployed person, one skill''.

The policy and program for the financial year 2081/082 announced by the head of the municipality and the chairman of the municipal assembly, Kunsang Lama, was unanimously passed by the municipal assembly.
