One person was injured in the firing by an unknown group in the cowshed of Mahottari. On Monday evening at 5:30 p.m., the police said that the shooting took place in the Madah river in Gaushala.
DSP Santhulal Jaiswal of District Police Office, Mahottari informed that Vinay Kumar Mahato, 38 years old, of Gaushala-5 was injured in the shooting.
Jaiswal said that he was referred to Janakpur after being treated at Gaushala First Aid Center in Mahato. According to the District Police Office Mahottari, there is a preliminary information that an unknown group on a motorcycle opened fire on a pedestrian in the Madah River and the incident is being further investigated.
