RSVP asked General Minister Dhakal for an explanation

The Central Disciplinary and Conduct Committee of RSWP has asked Dhakal for an explanation on the allegation of violation of discipline on the instructions of the chairman Ravi Lamichhane. RSVP co-spokesperson Pratibha Rawal also said that an explanation has been sought from General Minister Dhakal.

Dhakal submitted a 32-page report to the President and Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Lamichhane last Wednesday. Chief Minister Dhakal's report has created a debate on the RSVP for the first time. It is understood that Dhakal was asked for an explanation after the discussion about the content of the said report increased even outside the party. The disciplinary committee headed by Bharatmani Devkota has Ramhari Subedi, Ramakant Rimal and Yagyamani Neupane as members. Chief Devkota is currently out of the country.

After the party suffered a disappointing result in the by-elections of Ilam-2, the RSVP secretariat had appointed General Minister Dhakal to bring a review report from all over the country. Accordingly, Dhakal prepared a report after interacting with about 3,000 voters and well-wishers of 38 districts for a month.

The report which has been submitted to Chairman Lamichhane is being discussed in the meeting of the Central Committee of RSVP on June 19. Dhakal says that the party itself asked him to prepare the report. I prepared the report according to the responsibility given by the party. After reviewing the report, it is our desire that the proposal made from it be made public," he added, "There is no proposal in the report. It has been reviewed that this should be the case. Based on that, the party should be moved forward.'

RSVP chief whip Santosh Pariyar said that the General Minister's report is yet to be discussed. Said, 'What is in the report remains to be seen. All we know is the media reports. Beyond that, we don't even know. There is a program to discuss it on June 19. After handing over the review report to the chairman, Dhakal has accused the party of apolitical activities against him in a statement. He mentioned in the statement that he was blamed for what he did not do.

RSVP MP Shishir Khanal says that the party will seriously study the report submitted by General Minister Dhakal to the party president.
