Construction of Padma Kanya Mavi's Hostel by India

First Secretary of Indian Embassy in Kathmandu, Avinash Kumar Singh and Chief of District Coordination Committee, Kathmandu, Santosh Budhathoki, inaugurated the building on Monday.

Charatal building with 39 rooms has been constructed at a cost of 3 crore 23 lakh rupees. Under the agreement between the Government of India and the Government of Nepal, this project was launched as a High Impact Community Development Project.

Since 2003, India has initiated more than 551 high-impact community development projects in various areas of Nepal, and 490 projects have been completed, according to the Indian Embassy.
