There has been a general decline in the prices of the yellow metal in the local market. Gold prices, which reached an all-time high on Thursday, fell modestly on Friday.

General decline in gold prices

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Federation, Chapawal gold was traded at 140,000 rupees per tola on Thursday, and 139,300 rupees was fixed for Friday. Similarly, acid gold was traded at one lakh 39 thousand three hundred rupees per tola on Thursday and was fixed at one lakh 38 thousand six hundred fifty rupees on Friday.

The price of silver has also decreased by five rupees per tola. Silver, which was traded at 1,805 rupees per tola on Thursday, has been fixed at 1,800 rupees.
