The driver died in a mini truck accident in Salyan. 26-year-old Suklal Gharti of Chhatreshwari Rural Municipality-6 was killed when a mini truck numbered Ra 1 B 1916 coming from Dang to Salyan met with an accident at Kapurkot Rural Municipality-3 Aringalephedi under Rapti Highway at around 10 o'clock last night.
21-year-old co-driver Tej Bahadur Budhatok of Bangad Kupinde Municipality-9 Sera was injured in the accident. Police Inspector Bhawani Prasad Dhamala said that the driver Gharti was hit by a truck and died on the spot of the accident. The injured Budhathoki is being treated at a hospital in Srinagar.
