Both the persons who died in a mini bus accident near Katkuwa of Birendranagar Municipality-7 of Surkhet on Monday afternoon have been identified.
According to District Police Office Surkhet, 22-year-old Bhimsen Rana of Dungeshwar Rural Municipality-6 of Dailekh and Sher Bahadur Khadka of 70-year-old Andaji of Thakurbaba Municipality-3 of Bardia have been killed.
DSP Birendravir Bishwakarma, spokesman of the district police office, said that 21 people were injured when a mini bus coming from Dailekh to Surkhet crashed. According to him, the injured have been rescued and taken to the hospital.
Karnali Province He said that a mini bus number 001 B 0852 had met with an accident . Chief Minister Yamalal Kandel has met the injured who are being treated at Provincial Hospital Surkhet .
He has also given instructions to the provincial hospital administration to prevent the treatment of the injured.
