Budget principles and programs submitted to the Lumbini State Assembly

Minister Acharya said that while setting the principles of the budget and program included in the Provincial Appropriation Bill 2081, achieving sustainable broad and inclusive economic growth, job creation, simplification of federalism, promotion of good governance, improvement in service flow, frugality and effectiveness in the mobilization of resources, etc., were taken as the main basis of budget formulation.

He has expressed his commitment to try not to affect the state's economy and budget system, the global economic scenario as well as some internal reasons and the laxity seen in the overall national economy.

Increasing the province's internal revenue collection, trying to include in the budget only the appropriate projects that meet the increasing public demand for the development of the province, focusing the budget on sustainable and inclusive economic growth, increasing internal resources, in cooperation with the private sector, with comparative advantages such as agriculture, industry, tourism, forestry Minister Acharya has also mentioned in the upcoming principles and programs to expand the industrial and commercial activities based on the value chain by turning the sector into an opportunity for economic growth and employment. He has also expressed his commitment to remove the duplication seen in the selection of plans and programs at the union, state and local levels.

The government should prepare a suitable strategy for the development of tourist spots in Lumbini province based on the priorities of the provincial government for innovation promotion program, employment, development of tourism sector, give priority to economic growth programs in agriculture, continue the proud projects of the province and select more projects, provincial hospitals for health and others The government has also made it a priority to manage the necessary budget for upgrading hospitals and providing quality services.

In the meeting of the Lumbini State Assembly on Sunday, the proposal to send the bill to manage the formation, operation and conditions of the local service to the subject committee for discussion has been unanimously approved.

Chief Minister Jokh Bahadur Mahara submitted a proposal to be sent to the Provincial Affairs and Law Committee for quarterly discussion on the bill made to manage the formation, operation and service conditions of local services in accordance with clause 'B' of sub-rule 1 of rule 109 of the Provincial Assembly Regulations 2079. The Chief Minister's proposal was sent by Speaker Tularam Ghartimagar for division of votes.

Speaker's motion for voice vote was passed unanimously. The bill on local level services and facilities was submitted to the state assembly on May 30. After the theoretical discussion in the fifth and sixth meeting of the assembly, the Sunday meeting sent it to the committee.
