50-year-old Lalai Hazra Dusad, a resident of Sakhuwa Prasauni rural municipality-4, Ojaiya Prasauni toll, died on Friday after being stabbed by a neighbor. His neighbor Subas Hazra Dusad had taken drugs and stabbed Lalai at 6 pm.
Lalai died on the way while being brought to Narayani sub-regional hospital Birganj for treatment after being seriously injured.
After the disturbance in the village, the police team under the leadership of Inspector Mohanjung Budathapa of the area police office Paterwa Sugauli took control of the situation. The police also said that Subas Hazar Dusad, who threw the knife, has been arrested.
