One person died and two others were injured due to a landslide in Okhaldhunga.
District Police Office Information Officer and Police Inspector Vijay Karki informed that 35-year-old Devkumari Khatri died when a landslide destroyed her house in Chisankhugadhi Rural Municipality-5 Thumki this morning. Devakumari's husband Baburam Khatri, 39, and daughter Menuka, 18, were seriously injured in the landslide.
Both of them were rescued with the help of the police team deployed from Serna Police Station and the locals. They have been taken to the hospital for treatment. A house and a shed have been buried by the landslide.
