A three-room earthquake-resistant school building has been constructed for the Samajkali Basic School located in Mukhitang of Waplukha with an investment of 21 lakh 43 thousand 426. Ward Chairman Paras Rai said that three-quarter earthquake-resistant school building was constructed with 1.7 million rupees from British Gorkha Welfare and 4.43 thousand 426 public donations of technical support and local consumers. Chairman of Khotehang Rural Municipality Udim Bahadur Rai and Captain Pratapsin Rai of British Gorkha Welfare Scheme Bhojpur jointly inaugurated the newly constructed building on Monday.

The school, which was established in 2024, has one hundred and six students up to class 8 and three primary level permanent posts, two basic level relief posts, one primary level relief and one child development support worker and 9 people from private sources. Indrahang Kirati, chairman of the school management committee, said that the teachers are working.
