33-year-old Uday Kerung of Phalelung Rural Municipality-3 of Panchthar has successfully climbed Mount Everest. He successfully climbed Mount Everest at 6:08 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Earlier, the successful climbing of 'Mera Peak' and the eighth highest mountain Manaslu in the world Kerung, who had already done it, went to climb Mt. Everest through AT-K Expedition Trekking Company.
He left the base camp at midnight on Thursday with 22 members of the climbing team towards the peak of Everest. Pemba Sherpa, manager of AT-K Expedition Company, said that most of the participants in the climbing team had successfully climbed Mount Everest by 7 am.
Kerung is the second person from Phalelung rural municipality of Panchthar and the third person from Panchthar district to climb Mt. Earlier, Sushil Serma of Panchthar Mangjawung and Kishore Zavegu of Phalelung have already climbed Mt.
