14 people were injured in a jeep accident in Atharai Rural Municipality-6 of Tehrathum under Madhya Pahari Highway.
A jeep numbered 1 J 261 near Majhitar Bridge, passing from Atharai to Fidim, met with an accident around 11:30 on Sunday morning. The injured in the accident were rescued by the police team from District Police Office Panchthar and brought to Panchthar Hospital for treatment.
Police Inspector Sumit Kushwaha of District Police Office Panchthar, who was present at the scene of the incident, informed that the condition of 2 of the 14 injured persons is serious.
The police said that Pathibhara, who is located in Taplejung, walked from Manlung in Tehrathum for pilgrimage.
