The newly appointed vice chancellor of Tribhuvan University, Kesharjung Baral, has taken charge. He took charge on Friday after reaching the vice chancellor's office in Kirtipur. Acting Vice-Chancellor Shivlal Bhusal took charge.
Rector, registrar, deans and officials and professors and staff participated in the program. Baral was appointed by Prime Minister and Chancellor of Tertiary University Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Thursday. According to the recommendations of the recommendation committee formed by the Ministry of Education, Baral has been appointed as the vice-chancellor.
He is a professor of finance under the Faculty of Management. Baral holds a master's degree in management administration and commerce from the University of Delhi, India.
