Pulsar Cricket Excellence Center (CEC) Kathmandu won the NCCS Invitational Valley Cup T20 cricket tournament on Monday.

CEC in Group 'A' defeated Ballpark Sports and Events Academy by 5 wickets. Ballpark scored 117 runs after losing 7 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs.

Tilak Rajbhandari contributed 28 runs, Ashutosh Ghiraiah 21 and Vivek Ranamar contributed 20 runs. CEC's Raj Bam took two wickets, Younis Vikram Singh and Surya Tamang took one wicket each.

In response, CEC Kathmandu completed the target by scoring 121 runs in 18.1 overs. Raj Bam added 39 runs in 27 balls during his all-round performance. Dipendra Raut scored 21 runs and Rit Gautam scored 17 runs. Ballpark's Tilak Rajbhandari and Arthav Paudel took 2 wickets and Pankaj Pandey took one wicket. Player of the match was Raj Bomb.

Bhaktapur district has won the women's side of the competition being held at Moolpani Cricket Ground by 8 runs. The host defeated the Lalitpur district team.

Bhaktapur scored 80 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Anusha Rolla added 9 runs, Vinu Japrel 8 and Alisa Khadka added 7 runs. From Lalitpur, Manisha Upadhyay and Shweta Gupta took 2 wickets each and Sambhavya Dhakal took one wicket. In the

reply, Lalitpur managed to score only 72 runs in 18.4 overs. Ganga Basnet added 33 runs. Pooja Saud of Bhaktapur took 4 wickets with 14 runs. Anusha and Srijan Shrestha took 2 wickets each. Pooja Saud, who took 4 wickets, became the player of the match. Bhaktapur will play against Kathmandu on Tuesday.
