Army's Homlal and Sunsari get marathon titles

Shrestha completed the prescribed distance of 47 kilometers in 4 hours 5 minutes 27 seconds, while Sunsari completed the 36 kilometers of the half marathon in 3 hours 44 minutes 52 seconds .

Similarly, Tilak Sunuwar of the Army was second and Pratap Thamsuhang of Panchthar Phidim Municipality-10 Yangnam was third in the open marathon competition. In the women's half, Kumari Gurung of Fungling Municipality-6 and Vinita Tamang of Maiwakhola Rural Municipality-2 managed to become third. In the

competition, a distance of 47 km was set from the headquarter Fungling to Pathibhara Mandir and again to Phungling Bazar, while for the women's half marathon, a distance of 36 km was set to reach Kafle Pati and reach Phungling Bazar . With

becoming the winner, the winner of the open marathon received a prize of 1 lakh 51 thousand 111 rupees, the runner-up received 1 lakh 11 thousand 111 and the winner of the women's half got 81 thousand 111 and the runner-up received a cash prize of 51 thousand 111 rupees .

There were 113 competitors in the open marathon and 47 competitors in the women's half marathon.
