Sudurpaschim Academy of Dhangadhi and Holyland Secondary School of Kailali Attaria are going to meet in the final on Thursday for the title of Shree College Dhangadhi Cup football tournament.

The two teams entered the final after winning the semi-final matches held on Wednesday at Dhangadhi Stadium. In the first semi-final, Sudurpaschim Academy defeated Sainik Residential School Teghri with a 1-0 goal difference and made their way to the finals. In the second half of the game, Ayaan Mansuri of Sudurpaschim Academy scored a goal. Mansuri was declared the player of the match.

In the second semi-final match on Wednesday, Attaria's Holyland Secondary School defeated Alliance International School by 1-0 and confirmed their place in the final. Raju Lama scored a goal in the 12th minute of the first half of the game for Holyland. He was declared the player of the match.

10 schools participated in the second edition of the competition which started on February 6. Ramchandra Shahi, the president of Little Flower Sports Event, the organizing organization of the competition, said that the winning team will be awarded 50,000 and the runner-up will be awarded 25,000.

Likewise, 6,000 will be awarded to the best player, 3,000 to the best goalkeeper and 3,000 to the emerging player.
