Simkot connecting to Karnali Corridor

Only 800 meters are left to connect the Karnali Corridor road with Simkot in Humla. The Karnali Corridor Road Construction Task Force has informed that the Nepali Army has completed the 8 km road construction work from Dulli Kuna to Lalibagar and completed the work and only about 800 meters road construction work from Chhare to Lapche is left.

"Under the Karnali Corridor road that we have taken over, only 800 meters from Chhare to Lapche are left out of the 8 km from Dulli Kuna in Humla to Lalibagar, other works have been completed," said Amrit Parajuli, a soldier of the Karnali Corridor Road Construction Task Force.

According to him Now the work of ballasting is going on in the said 800 meter section . He said that this work will also be completed within the current financial year and will be handed over. Karnali Corridor will be connected to Simkot in Humla after the completion of the 8 hundred meter road.

Simkot is the only district headquarters of Nepal, where no road has reached yet. But after the construction of the remaining 800 meters of road, Simkot will also be connected to the road network.

122 km road from Kalikot Khulalu to Humla Sarisalla has been completed and handed over by the Army last year. Now vehicles are moving from Kalikot Khulalu to Humla Sarisalla to Dulli, Lapche.

Previously, vehicles used to travel from Kalikot Khulalu to Sarisalla, but after the construction of the Beilibridge in Sarisalla, vehicles are reaching up to Lapche.
