He said that he will offer 1.5 million Rot to Gorakhnath for 11 days. It is believed that the festival will help in attracting religious tourists.

Devotees from Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Chitwan, Kaski, Parsa, Sarlahi, Sindhuli and other districts are also expected to come to the festival. The center has been organizing a quarter of a million Rot Mahotsav since 2061. On the day of Gorakhnath Baisakh Purnima, religious beliefs are revealed in Gorakh Cave.

A two-layer rot prepared from cow, barley or rice flour is offered to Gorakhnath. It is a religious belief that after bringing in a new grain crop in every season, the flour of the new grain is cooked in ghee and made into a roti and eaten only by offering it to Gorakhnath. The festival will be held until the 20th.
