The police have arrested a young man who committed serial thefts in different districts. 33-year-old Bharat Pariyar of Rolpa Municipality-1 of Rolpa was arrested by the police from Katuwachoupari of Kushma Municipality-9 of Rolpa at 2 pm on Thursday.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Khumlal Bhusal's team arrived at the district police office after the locals reported to the police while stealing 1 million 17 thousand cash and recharge card worth Rs. With him, the police found 35 tola 72 red gold, 11 lakh 15 thousand 485 cash, 42 recharge cards of Nepal Telecom and Ncell have been seized. The District Police Office held a press conference on Friday and announced the persons involved in the theft and the recovered items.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Khumlal Bhusal of the District Police Office, two mobiles, one map of Nepal, one road map of Nepal, one passport, one citizenship, one wireless CC TV camera, one hard disk and an LED were recovered from the thief. One monitor has been recovered.

Similarly, hammers, screwdrivers, GI pipes, torches, various key chains, ball caps, gloves, power banks, and digital weighing machines used in theft have been recovered.

Accused Pariyar has been released in 2073 after serving four years in prison in a theft case in police circle Naya Baneshwar in 2069. Pariyar has given a statement to the police that he first stayed in the Central Jail Kathmandu and later in the Jhumka Jail Sunsari and while staying there he got in touch with criminals and started stealing as a gang after he was released from the jail.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhusal informed that a case has been registered against Pariyar in the District Court today for the crime of theft and investigation has been started with a deadline of 10 days.
