Bharatpur tour year starting from Friday

In a press conference organized on Tuesday, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal will inaugurate the visit year at a program to be held on the banks of the Narayani River, Metropolitan Mayor Renu Dahal informed.

Before the opening program, rallies and tableaus coming out from different squares of Bharatpur will circle the market. Mayor Dahal said that there is a plan to have 50,000 people participate in the opening event. She said that the aim is to bring in 500,000 tourists, including 200,000 foreigners, during the visit year. She informed that 51 different programs will be conducted throughout the year of the visit.

There is Chitwan Park, which is known in the world for tourism under the cover of Bharatpur, and another famous religious place, Devghatdham. Mayor Dahal said that 22 attractive tourist destinations have been decided in the metropolis by natural, religious, historical and man-made.

The hotel resorts that can accommodate seven and a half thousand people and another seven and a half thousand people within the metropolitan city are located in the rest of Chitwan and Ghandakot, so they can provide food and lodging services to 15,000 people daily, he said.
