When I read the news published in Kantipur on May 12 titled 'When will the investigation be conducted for those who carry two citizenships and passports of two countries?', I was very upset. General Secretary of the Federal Parliament, Padma Prasad Pandey, took the citizenship from the district administration office Palpa in 2046 by reducing the age by 6 years and also took the passport by misusing the citizenship certificate obtained by reducing the age.
A wide range of questions were raised on this matter. A complaint was also filed against him in the State Order Committee of the Parliament, but the State Order Committee has not been able to investigate despite collecting evidence from the Ministry of Home Affairs and Foreign Affairs on the basis of the same complaint.
Congress General Minister Bishwa Prakash Sharma questioned why the investigation into the dual citizenship and passport of the General Secretary of the Parliament and the Home Minister was not done, while Shekhar Koirala of the Congress demanded an investigation into the dual citizenship and dual passport of the General Secretary Pandey and the Home Minister.
He indicated that the president of Kantipur Media Group, Kailash Sirohia, was not only arrested on the grounds of citizenship, but also that the attack on Kantipur was terrible.

According to the Citizenship Act, a person who creates a certificate of citizenship by submitting false information or forged evidence or practices such act may be punished with imprisonment from one year to five years or a fine of twenty thousand to one lakh rupees or both and obtains a passport or travel permit by submitting false information. or even if attempted, there is a legal provision that a fine of two lakhs to five lakhs or imprisonment from one year to three years or both.
