The main opposition party Congress has accused the ruling party of not being serious about solving the cooperative problem. Speaking to the media after the meeting held at the Prime Minister's official residence Baluwatar on Monday, Congress MP Jeevan Pariyar said that although Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is positive to form a parliamentary inquiry committee on the cooperative case, other ruling political parties are not serious.
MP Pariyar says that the Congress has long sought the protection of the savings of cooperative victims, savers and the assurance of immediate return of their savings to those victims.
'We have learned that during the stay of Honorable Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Ravi Lamichhaneji in Gorkha Media Network, crores of funds have reached Gorkha Media Network from various cooperatives and through various companies and individuals in Gorkha Media Network . The Nepali Congress is of the opinion that it should be properly investigated,' MP Pariyar said, 'Confusion has arisen because the government says that the proposal is positive and when it misinterprets it . We are focused on getting back and ensuring people's deposit . The Prime Minister's initiative is positive, but it seems that the problem will continue to be solved as thought by the entire ruling party.' He said that he has been demanding an investigation into the incident. He says that the Congress demands that a proper investigation be done.
