'Mithila Thali' restaurant started by BBC Master Chef Santosh Shah has entered its second year. He said that he is going to start a vegetarian restaurant targeting the pilgrims who come to visit the Pashupatinath temple. Sah said that now Kathmandu residents will be able to taste the original dishes of Mithila region in Gaushala. He says that under Mithila thali, customers can taste 17 dishes in one thali.


'My aim is to promote Mithila's culture and art along with original food,' he said, 'so the restaurant is decorated with Mithila art to reflect Mithila.'
