After the opening of the checkpoint, the residents of Kimathanka, Chamtang, Chepuwa, Hatia etc. of Bhotkhola have been relieved. Since road transport was not connected from the headquarters, it was becoming expensive to transport consumer goods by mule. Khandbari Kimathanka Road is under construction. The distance from Khandbari to Kimathanka is 162 km.

Bhote said that with the opening of trade points in the northern region, there will be a presence of the state in the border region.
