Till February of the current financial year, the number of industries based on information, broadcasting and communication technology is 120. According to the Economic Survey 2080/81 released on Sunday, the total investment in this sector is 9 billion 55 million rupees. The proposed number of jobs in this sector is 8 thousand 121.
According to the data of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply, the working capital of the information technology-based industry as of February of the current year is 1 billion 97 million rupees and the fixed capital is 7 billion 58 million rupees. From the beginning to February 2080, a total of 13 billion 4 million rupees foreign investment in 144 industries based on information, broadcasting and communication technology has been approved .
Until February last year, the number of industries based on information transmission and communication technology was 99. The proposed employment in this sector was 6 thousand 134 . Similarly, up to February of last year, a total of 12 billion 42 million rupees foreign investment in 127 industries based on information transmission and communication technology was approved .
