The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, rose by 27.54 points to 2,092 points on Monday. It is 1.33 percent more than the previous day. NEPSE, which closed with an increase of 45.69 points the previous day, followed the same trend on Monday.
On Monday, along with the NEPSE index, there has been a significant improvement in the transaction amount. On that day, 1 crore 43 lakh 70 thousand 689 shares were bought and sold in nearly 81 thousand transactions. Shares worth 5.85 billion 43 million rupees have been traded in those purchases. The turnover has increased compared to the previous day. Shares worth 5 billion 25 crore rupees were traded on Sunday.
On Monday, 134 companies' share prices increased, 117 companies decreased and the remaining 5 companies' share prices remained stable.
