Famous ghazal singer Pakanj Udas passed away. His daughter Nayab Udhas informed through social media that Udas, who had been ill for a long time, passed away on Monday. Pankaj Udas was 73 years old.
Confirming the death of her father, Nayab wrote, 'It is with great sadness that we inform you that Padmashri Pankaj Udas has passed away on 26 February 2024 . He had been ill for a long time .'
According to Indian Express , Pankaj Udas passed away at Brich Kandy Hospital on Monday at 11 am. 'Chitthi Aayi Hai' (Naam), 'Na Kajare Ki Dhar' (Mohra), 'Chandi Jaisa Rang', 'Ek Taraf Usha Ghar', 'Jiye To Jiye Kaise', 'Tere Bina Jina' and 'Ahista' from Udas are famous. The songs are . Pankaj Udas has wife Farida Udas and daughters Nayab and Reva .
