The 4th Nawalpur District League football tournament has started in East Nawalparasi. Twelve clubs of the district are participating in the competition organized by District Football Association Nawalpur.
District Football Association Nawalpur President Setuman Pun said that the best club will participate in the state-level football league at the Diamond Youth Club ground in Kawasoti municipality-12.
The league is organized to promote the development of district players and to identify and select talented village players. The winning club will be selected in the state level league and will be awarded a prize of 80,000 rupees. The second will get 50,000 and the third will get 20,000. Center College of Vocational Training Center is the sponsor of the competition. Any player who played in A, B, C division in the
league will not be allowed to participate. There is a provision to keep at least 5 players of 19 years in a team while selecting players.
