Weightlifting player Sagar Bhandari is going to submit his challenge at the IWF World Cup 2024 in Phuket, Thailand. The competition has already started on March 31 and will continue till April 11.
Sagar will play in the weight group above 199 kg in this tournament, which also has Olympic qualifiers. Along with Sagar, there are coach Jeevan Gauttam and manager Ramsundar Shrestha in the three-member team.
Jeevanram Shrestha, president of Nepal Olympic Committee, bid farewell to him during a special program organized on Wednesday. On that occasion, the general secretary of the committee Nilendraraj Shrestha, president of Nepal Weightlifting Association Ram Shrestha Bose along with other officials were present.
