Dangali Lions and Tulsipur Royals in the final

Saturday Dangali Lions and Tulsipur Royals will compete for the league title. When all the matches of the league stage ended, Tulsipur Royals won all 4 matches and took the top position with 8 points.

Second placed Dangali Lions registered 3 wins and 1 loss in 4 matches. Ghorahi Tigers are third with 4 points, Purandhara Challengers are fourth with 2 points and Deukhuri, defeated in all 4 games, remained in fifth place without any points.

In the first match, Dangali Lions defeated Deukhuri Warriors by 6 wickets. The target of 126 runs given by Deukhuri was met by Dangali in 18.4 overs after losing 4 wickets. Opener Shankar Rana contributed an unbeaten 67 runs for Dangali Lions. Rana, who was declared the player of the match, hit 5 fours and 2 sixes in 59 balls. Basir Ahmed scored 25 runs and Shishir Dagi scored 17 runs unbeaten. Shankar and Basir shared 61 runs for the third wicket and laid the foundation for victory.

Deukhuri's Vishal Vikram KC took 2 wickets and Subham Khanal and Prajwal Thapa took 1 wicket each. Deukhuri Warriors, who won the toss and batted earlier, scored 125 runs after losing 8 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs.

For Deukhuri, opener Vishal Vikram KC scored 44 runs in which he hit 4 fours and 2 sixes in 32 balls. Similarly, Awaz Gautam contributed 17 unbeaten runs, Ashish Oli and Thaman Oli contributed 15 runs and Subham Khanal contributed 10 unbeaten runs. In the second match, Tulsipur Royals defeated Ghorahi Tigers by 41 runs. To reach the final, Ghorahi had to chase the target of 151 runs in 11.3 overs, but Ghorahi could only score 109 runs by losing 9 wickets while batting 20 overs.

For Ghorahi, Dipesh Kadel contributed the most 24 runs, Sushant Singh Thapa 22 runs, Younis Vikram Singh 17 and Robin Thapa contributed 13 runs, but it was not enough to win. In the bowling of Tulsipur Royals, Amar Singh Rautela and Nabin Bik took 2/2 and Rupesh Singh, Diwan Pun and Birat Singh Bhandari took 1/1 wicket.

Five franchise teams are participating in the tournament organized by Dang Cricket Association. Ghorahi Tigers captained by Sushant Singh Thapa, Deukhuri Warriors captained by Vishal Vikram KC, Purandhara Challengers captained by Mohan Khatri, Tulsipur Royals captained by Dewan Pun and Dangali Lions captained by Vipin Khatri. The winner of the

competition will receive 2 lakh 50 thousand rupees and the runner-up will receive 1 lakh rupees. The best batter, bowler and emerging player of the league will get the same 10/10 thousand. Similarly, the best player of the tournament will receive 15,000 rupees and the player of the match of each game will receive 5,000 rupees, said President of Dang Cricket Association, Pradeep Mazgaia.
