Congress and civil liberties MPs protested at the beginning of the meeting of the provincial assembly held by the Chief Minister of the Far West, Galigha Bahadur Sodari, for the purpose of taking the vote of confidence. The meeting has been adjourned for half an hour.

The parliamentarians of both parties have raised slogans saying that the appointment of Chief Minister Sodari is unconstitutional and that the Civil Liberties Parliamentary Party does not have support. They have also raised slogans against the provincial head and Speaker.

Five of the seven parliamentarians of civil emancipation are sitting on the opposition bench while two were sitting on the bench of the ruling party.
