Lamjung police arrested one person with 4 kg 305 grams of ganja. Police said that 42-year-old Ram Sharan Sapkota of Sundarbazar Municipality 7 was arrested with marijuana.
According to Police Inspector Meghnath Chapagain, the marijuana was found during a search of the house based on information that marijuana was being hidden for sale and distribution.
According to the police, Sapkota was arrested with marijuana on Wednesday night and brought to the district police office, and on Thursday, the investigation has been started after receiving an extension of 7 days from the district court. Police Inspector Chapagain said that an investigation is being conducted against Sapkota for an offense under the Narcotics (Control) Act, 2033.
