400 victims who were cheated in Chhiharpe co-operative filed a complaint with the police

After the news about money embezzlement was published in Kantipur on 25th of Chait, the police detained 6 people and started investigation.

According to District Police Information Officer, Bed Bahadur Paudel, 400 people submitted applications to the District Police Office till Friday with evidence of fraud. In this cooperative, which was established in 2066, the businessmen started saving money in the greed of getting a lot of interest. This cooperative used to collect cash daily by sending savers home even on Saturdays and public holidays .
