A pilgrim has died after falling from a mountain at Binyatriveni in East Nawalparasi.
While returning from Madar Baba Mela, an Indian pilgrim died after falling from a crowd in Binyatriveni rural municipality-6 Khairni forest.
38-year-old Pankaj Kumar Kushahwa of Kusinagar, Uttar Pradesh, India, died, said police inspector Sajan Sharma of district police office East Navalparasi. Kushwaha, who was unconscious after falling from Bhir, died in the district hospital Madhyabindu during the treatment.
The fair that started on February 17th has been visited by millions of visitors from Nepal and India. It is considered the center of faith of Hindus and Muslims.
