A woman has died due to lightning in Sarlahi. 64-year-old Goma Ale Magar of Bagmati Municipality-1, who was seriously injured by lightning, died during treatment.
Magar was injured by lightning while working in her field this morning. Deepak Shrestha, spokesperson of the district police office and Deputy Superintendent of Police, informed that he died in Virgunj, Parsa during his treatment.
Meanwhile, lightning struck Lalbandi Municipality-17 The house of Mangal Kami of Gari tol has been damaged. Similarly, 6 houses of Ishwarpur municipality-13 and 16 were damaged due to the lightning strike on Wednesday, police said.
