The police have recovered the shoes from Birganj which were smuggled from India. Birgunj Metropolitan City - 8 Ghantaghar road section, a large quantity of shoes were seized by a person who did not open the Namthar Watan by renting a house and imported from India.

On the basis of secret information about the unauthorized storage of shoes brought from India, the police team deployed from the district police office raided the shoe warehouse and recovered the shoes in an abandoned condition.

695 pairs of shoes, 37 pieces of super click cream, 26 pieces of plastic ladies slippers have also been recovered from the warehouse. The value of recovered shoes, slippers and other items is around 7 lakh 5 thousand rupees. DSP Dhruv Kumar Shrestha informed that the materials were handed over to the Birganj Customs Office.
