The armed police recovered a loaded pistol from Sarlahi's border area, Inaruwa, on Friday evening.

A pistol marked Made in USA and five rounds of bullets loaded in a magazine were recovered from Brahmapuri rural municipality-5, Inaruwa. The Armed Police Force No. 10 said that the weapons were seized by the patrol team deployed from the border out post Sakhuawa at 8 pm on Friday.

Two unknown persons riding a motorcycle with Indian number BR 30 X 7713 coming from India to Nepal left the motorcycle as soon as they saw the armed police who were checking and the weapons they were carrying fell. Both those persons have absconded towards India.

After the pistol was recovered with bullets loaded, it is estimated that it may have come with the intention of killing someone. Sarlahi Armed Police Superintendent Vinodraj Khanal informed that the recovered weapons will be handed over to the Nepal Police for necessary action.
