One person was killed in a vehicle accident on Friday evening at Hilihang 7 Hewakhola in Panchthar under Phidim Taplejung road section of Mechi highway.
A Toyota company vehicle bearing the number Ba 17 P 7999, carrying employees of Trishakti Construction, had an accident on Friday at 6:30 pm. The driver of the same vehicle, Shyam Vishwakarma, 35 years old, from Nepalganj, died on the spot when it overturned. 31-year-old Laxman Mukhiya of Ilam was injured in the accident. He was sent to Jhapa after primary treatment at Panchthar Hospital.
The vehicle has fallen 25 meters from the road and has fallen. District Police Office Panchthar Police Inspector Diwas Kunwar informed that the accident may have happened due to uncontrolled.
