Mukkumlung Protection Joint Struggle Committee, Pathibhara Cable Car Cancellation Joint Struggle Committee, Kirat Yakthum Chumlung Federal Committee and other organizations have been closed. Due to the closure, there is no traffic in Taplejung. Similarly, long-distance transport vehicles running on Mechi Highway and Tamor Corridor have not been spared.

In the bandh called for two days on Wednesday and Thursday, the plan to build a cable car should be canceled and a public apology should be made for cutting trees. The contractor company had cut the tree since Monday morning for the cable car construction. Locals have said that 75 percent of the cutting work has been completed.
