A fire broke out in Tumwewa Rural Municipality-1 Ratmate. When the fire started from the forest near the settlement, a local's house was burnt down and three pigs were burnt to death along with 2 kholmas.
Khadgasundar Samwahamfe, the vice chairman of the village, informed that there were no human casualties due to the fact that the house was empty.
According to Samwahamfe, 2 Kholmas and 3 Sugurs of Saharsingh Tamang were burnt to death along with the house of Partha Bahadur Budathoki. Chief of District Police Office Panchthar Hemanta Bahadur Chhetri has confirmed the incident. He said the fire was under control.
The fire was lit at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.
