The chairman of Kantipur Media Group, Kailash Sirohia, has been airlifted from Janakpur to Nepal Medici Hospital at Nakkhu in Lalitpur for further treatment.

President Sirohia was brought to Medicity Hospital in Kathmandu for further treatment

He was admitted to Kavya Hospital in Janakpur for treatment after his health deteriorated while in police custody and was referred to Medicity for further treatment and further tests. He was brought to Medicity Hospital by helicopter around 3:30 in the afternoon.

On Monday, when the deadline was extended for the third time by three days, the Dhanusha District Court ordered that since Sirohia's health condition is unfavorable, it would be appropriate to take him to a suitable hospital and be examined by a doctor who is conducting regular health examinations. According to the same order, Kavya Hospital has been brought to Medicity Hospital where President Sirohia is undergoing regular tests.

According to Navin Kumar, Board Advisor of Nepal Medicity Hospital, necessary tests are currently being done in Sirohia's emergency room. According to him, after receiving all the test reports, the doctors will inform Sirohia what kind of problem he has.
Indrajit Prasad Mahato, a member of Madhes province of RSVP, lodged a complaint with the Dhanusha police saying that the citizenship number issued in the name of Sirohia was the same as that of another person. Based on that, the police arrested Dhanusha from the office of the Kantipur headquarters in Thapathali last Tuesday. The next day, Wednesday, the District Court Dhanusha allowed Sirohia to be detained for 3 days for investigation.
As the investigation has not been completed within the specified period, the police requested permission to keep them in custody for 5 more days through the public prosecutor's office on Friday, and the court gave them a deadline of Sunday. On Monday, three more deadlines were extended for the investigation of Sirohia.
