A meeting of the working group will be held to decide the jurisdiction of the parliamentary investigation committee in the cooperative fraud case. A working group meeting is scheduled to be held at the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs at 9 am on Tuesday. At a time when the conflict between the ruling party and the opposition is increasing, an attempt has been made to find an agreement once again.
Before the meeting of the House of Representatives at 11 am on Tuesday, the parties tried to reach an agreement. To determine the jurisdiction of the parliamentary inquiry committee, a task force has been formed under the coordination of Law Minister Padam Giri, including Congress Joint General Minister Jeevan Pariyar, UML Chief Whip Mahesh Bertaula and RSVP MP Shishir Khanal.
The government has also prepared to end the parliament session and bring the budget through an ordinance if there is no agreement on the jurisdiction of the inquiry committee.
