An inter-legislative experience exchange program between the Federal Parliament and the Provincial Assembly and Secretariat has started in Sauraha of Chitwan from Tuesday. The two-day event was jointly inaugurated by Speaker of the House of Representatives Devraj Ghimire and Speaker of the National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina.

Apsara Chapagain, the Deputy Speaker of the Bagmati Province Assembly, said that Nepal's assemblies should strengthen the parliamentary system by paying attention to international practice.

The General Secretary of the Federal Parliament, Padma Prasad Pandey, expressed hope that the exchange of experience between the two levels of assembly would yield positive results.
