"We went to the government after the Prime Minister's request"

According to the second tier leaders of UML-Maoist, a new political 'course' has started after an agreement was reached on the matter of changing the prime ministership and forming an electoral alliance or party unity in the 084 elections. According to this agreement, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal dismissed all his ministers and appointed one minister each from UML, Maoist and RSVP on Monday. UML's Padam Giri, Maoist's Hit Bahadur Tamang and RSVP's Dolprasad Aryal have taken oath as non-departmental ministers.

After finalizing all matters including the leadership of the center and the provinces, there is a preparation to make the senior leaders of UML, RASWP and JASP participate in the government by giving them ministries along with the deputy prime minister. Since Jaspa President Upendra Yadav himself wants to participate in the government, he has not appointed anyone as a minister in the first phase. It has been agreed that he will take the Foreign Minister along with the Deputy Prime Minister. In this context, a conversation with DP Aryal :

Why did the RSVP participate in the government?

Raswapa is not able to achieve what it has planned and run its political campaign. The people want good governance and delivery, the days are not over. We cannot do that by sitting in the opposition. And, in the current political developments, the Prime Minister asked to support us by breaking the cooperation with the largest party in the Parliament. We have also become partners in this equation with the confidence that we should and can deliver to the people.

Before there was a coalition government but now why did the left-wing equation attract?

The Prime Minister was watching the activities of the MPs of RSVP. His conclusion is that the coalition he was working with could not deliver to the people, could not maintain good governance and the government could not succeed. He urged that

and, if found with RSVP, it can be successful. We also want to work and show. That is why the government, the minister, the chair is more than a working huthuti. We want to work in coordination with all ministries. Even if it is not, we want to show that the ministry we are leading is working in accordance with the law. Since the Prime Minister also has a clear opinion on this, we have participated in the government.

What are the other conditions of RSWPA in power sharing?

We have asked to go back to the minimum common understanding we have done in the past. All the ministries had to work accordingly and the ministries had to be distributed based on expertise. Let's divide the ministry in such a way that all the parties can work and let's make a consensus on what we agreed on on December 10 of last year.

The chairman has been given the responsibility of how to arrange the distribution of ministries. Which ministry is our part in that, then it is decided who to send. After that, it is the confidence that you can show that you can work according to the expectations of the people by staying on the party line.

It is coming out that RSVP should have a Home Ministry with a Deputy Prime Minister. What is your claim on this?

We have discussed with the chairman in the secretariat meeting about the ministry and have given all the responsibilities to him. We have told him that we should claim this ministry. Accordingly, the chairman sat and discussed with other parties and accordingly I took the oath today. The names of the ministries have not been made public by the Speaker, so I could not say about them. In the secretariat meeting, we advised the chairman that we should go to the government only if we get these ministries as a minimum. As it has not been formally decided, I could not say, but it is being discussed.

How many ministries does RSWP want to get?

As it has not been decided how many parties will join this government, it is not possible to determine how many ministries we will get. The leaders are still in discussion.

You have been sworn in as a non-departmental minister, do you have any claim?

I have told the president that if this ministry becomes a ministry, it will be easy to work. It became a topic that could be said only after everything was decided in the ministry.
