Kathmandu Metropolitan City-17 honored the medal winners of the 18th men's weight group and 17th women's open weight group full contact karate competition on Thursday.

Kyokushin Thunder Medalist Honored

APF gold winner Anisha Tamang, silver winner Sumitra Nagarkoti, bronze winner Reena Majhi and West fighter Kavita Moktan were honored with cash prizes of 10,000, 5,000, 2,500 and 1,500 respectively in the women's competition organized by Nepal Kyokushin Karate Do Sangh Vajra.

Kamanpa spokesperson and chairman of ward 17 Naveen Manandhar honored the players. On the same occasion, Simrik Yuva Kyokushin Karate Do Association Vajra was given a mat worth Rs. The mat was handed over to SIMRIC President Pushpaman Manandhar.
