Nepalese players Prabhat Rokamagar and Misty Shrestha have been declared the best players in the 10th Everest International Karate Tournament. Players from India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh along with Nepal participated in the tournament at Dasharath Stadium.

The Buddhist Dojo team, which won many medals on behalf of Nepal in the competition, became the champion. The Indian team came second and the Sri Lankan team came third. Prabhat and Misty are selected as the best among the competitive players.

Nepal's Bagmati Province Rasuwa and Nuwakot district karate teams won the best discipline and fair play team awards respectively, while the organizer Naxal Dojo won the West Marchpass trophy. A small Gaucharan Dojo from Wagmati Pradesh won the emerging team trophy . Dubai Budokan Cup International Karate gold medalists Widlis Majhi, Kushal Khatri, Divya Shah, Swarnimasingh Thakuri and bronze winner Prasna Dhakal were felicitated .

Ram Bahadur Singh Thakuri, member of Nepal Karate Federation, advisor Niwasgopal Vaidya and senior karate trainer RB Gurung, who have made special contributions in the field of karate, were honored. National Sports Council Member Secretary Tanklal Ghising, President of Nepal Karate Federation Yuvraj Lama, President of Nepal Sitoryo Karate Association Dawa Gurung presented the prizes to the winning athletes.
