Gateway Academy and the host Peace Point have reached the finals of the sixth Peace Point Cup inter-school football tournament.

In the first semi-final at Sano Gaucharan Maidan on Tuesday, Gateway defeated Eklavya by 4-3 goals in a tiebreaker. Both played a goalless draw at the scheduled time. Gateway's Laxman Upreti was Man of the Match. Peace Point, which is on a double hat-trick campaign in the

title, defeated Manakamana 3-1 in the other semi-final. Rahul Lama scored 2 goals and Pawan Budhathoki scored 1 goal for Peace Point which won all five editions. Manav Lama of Manakamana scored 1 goal. Peace Point's Nitesh Moktan was elected Man of the Match. The final will be held on Wednesday. There will be a third place match. The top three position winners will receive a prize of Rs 30,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.
